Some of the information maintained by Google is quite interesting and if it falls in the wrong hands, can be used for malicious purposes. Search history is quite a useful feature and you opt whether you want to enable it or not but I wonder whether Google tracks it anyway. The tracking is cookie based, so what will happen if cookies are disabled ?
All these concerns crop up due to lack of visibility to the inner working of Google, which they have no intention of making public. And why should they ?
